Nature Crafts

Ready to get creative this summer? Across the county, we’ll be unleashing our imagination with lots of free craft events. Come along to make your own paper bats, fish mobiles, bug hotels, slithering snakes, rockpools and dinosaurs!

Have a look to see what’s on in your area, and don’t forget that you can travel to any library in the county if you want to get exploring.

The Emperor and the Nightingale Interactive Storytime and Craft

Enjoy a classic fairytale in a new way with dancer Marie-Louise Flexen. The narrative will be read by author, performer, and artist Steven Skinley.

Following the interactive story, each child will have the opportunity to design, make, and take home their own magical bird mask. Suitable for ages 5-10.

Family Yoga Workshop with World Jungle

Come and discover your inner warrior, float like a lotus flower, or connect with your playful puppy side!

Family yoga session offering playful movements and simple breathing exercises, suitable for children and parents alike.

Museum on Wheels

The Museum on Wheels is rolling in! This mobile museum experience is part of Cheltenham’s BIG Museum Project, and it’s your chance to help shape the future of The Wilson – Cheltenham’s museum and art gallery.

Get up close with fascinating objects from The Wilson’s collection — pick them up, explore their stories, and discover Cheltenham’s hidden gems.

Coming to Cheltenham Library, Charton Kings Library, Up Hatherley Library, Bishops Cleeve Library and Prestbury Library.
