NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, due to the death of William Nicol, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council
Published: 27 July 2026
If by 14 August 2026 (14 days excluding Dies Non after the date of this Notice) a request for an
election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN
registered electors for the Parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancy.
If an election is called, it will take place no later than 19 October 2026.
If an election is not requested, the vacancy will be filled by co-option by the Parish Council.
