National Highways Notification: A40 Overnight Closures
Please also note that from Tuesday 28 July there is a change to the traffic layout as they move into contraflow.

During this phase A40 Eastbound traffic will also merge into one lane prior to the traffic signals at B4215 Newent junction.

Access to residences, business and emergency services will be maintained during the closure under the same previously used process
