Press release 17 November 2025 Free parking initiative to support local businesses this festive season Tewkesbury Borough Council is pleased to announce a series of free parking days across its town centre car parks to support small businesses and retailers during the busy shopping period.
The 50mph speed limit scheme proposal is being proposed primarily to improve road safety and amenity for all highway users, including pedestrians and cyclists on the A48 between the A40 & Westbury-on-Severn. There have been 8 personal injury collisions along this route in the last 5 years.
